RPG Maker old-school horror game. 30 -60 min play time.
I wanted to make a project that uses default assets to learn the engine.

Four endings to the game.

I used AI for the cover art, workshop dialog and it is just faster to use chatgpt for script calls than to google it.

OKAY first of all wow.

I really enjoyed the story, there's something really captivating when it comes to unknown monsters and haunted mansions.

To the future players, at first you seem too weak against the shadows but there is a ''hidden'' weapon and there's a way to get stronger. don't give up if you die olln the first try and maybe keep something to take notes next to you.

My question for the dev: (spoils)

I got 3 endings (don't touch, lights out and bad ending..) and
I can't find a purpose for the ingredients such as the yellow potatoes,
the blue fish and so on.. Maybe a little clue would be appreciated ;)
I also believe the shadows should be a little slower when they first
chase you.. I almost lost interest when I was at 20 HP two monsters in ahahah
Otherwise, very cool game, had a lot of fun and thank you for putting it out :)

Thank you so much for the feedback! You don't understand how much I wanted to get some feedback so this I really do appreciate. I don't know much about gave dev so I tried my best!

Let me try to help with the last ending there. (spoilers)

For the last ending there are hints.
So the standard ingredients like potato and bluefish, ect are
red herring if you do not find the flowers.
This allows players to at least get the bad end if they do not get
the flowers. I'll try my best not to give
out the solution but here are the hints. They may not be as obvious
as they should be. Which I could work on.
First hint for true ending is if you lift the lids to the serving tray
the puppet will mention to find all four flowers.
They also say "Do you like day to night, or was it night to day?"
The other hint is the dinner note saying Serena and Vic would share
shadowveil tea and then some red hibiscus wine.
The other hint is in the kitchen the book that is in there.
Try other combinations of tonic once solved it will say true tonic
if you got it right.
Hopefully this helps.
